The third show in the 2019 season is the Broadway At Music Circus premiere of the award-winning musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone is now on stage, starring writeractorcomedian Bruce Vilanch and featuring a cast of Broadway veterans. The show runs Tuesday, July 9 through Sunday, July 14 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion in Sacramento. Check out video of the cast in action!

BroadwayWorld has learned that Beth Leavel will lead The Muny's production of GYPSY as Mama Rose! The production will feature direction by Rob Ruggiero, choreography by Ralph Perkins, and music direction by James Moore.

Award-winning actor, director, and choreographer Noah Racey returns to Broadway At Music Circus as Don Lockwood in this summer's season opener Singin' in the Rain. In addition to his lead turn in Broadway At Music Circus's 2012 production of Crazy for You, Racey has performed on Broadway in Curtains, Never Gonna Dance, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Follies.

Axelrod Performing Arts Center recently closed its production of In the Heights. Roberto Araujo (Piragua Guy) directs and choreographs this music video to Shakira's “Objection”.

Theatre by the Sea recently opened its production of West Side Story. Celebrating the multi cultural spirit of this show, Roberto Araujo (Pepe u/s Bernardo and Chino) directs and choreographs this music video to Gloria Estefan's 'Oye!'. EMI Classics has just announced the U.S. release of The John Wilson Orchestra's That's Entertainment: A Celebration of the MGM Film Musical. World renowned conductor and arranger John Wilson leads an all-star cast of singers and his Grammy® Award-nominated eponymous orchestra, comprised of some of the UK's finest musicians, on this dazzling recording of some of the greatest songs from Hollywood's Golden Age. Most of the scores have been lovingly and painstakingly reconstructed by Wilson, as MGM destroyed the originals in 1969. This is the first time the songs, including "Singin' in the Rain", "Steppin' Out with My Baby", "The Trolley Song", and title track "That's Entertainment", have been recorded in their intended orchestration since the films' original soundtrack recordings. That's Entertainment, also features a world-class cast of singers including Kim Criswell, Matthew Ford, Sarah Fox, Seth MacFarlane (the creator of Family Guy) and Curtis Stigers. The Standard Edition CD, a Deluxe Edition and a DVD of the 2009 BBC Proms, which launched John Wilson to fame in his native UK, is currently featured as part of a major national PBS pledge drive in August and September, will be available through all stores and online retailers on September 25th, 2012.
