The 2024 Governors Awards took place on January 9, where Mel Brooks was honored with an Honorary Oscar for his legacy of work. Prior to being presented with the award, Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane took the stage to give a speech, and then performed a medly of songs from The Producers, including The King of Old Broadway and I Want to Be a Producer.

Michael Rosen's Chocolate Cake opens the new Spring/Summer season at Polka Theatre. The production opens with previews from 23 March and runs until 13 May. It has been adapted by the theatre's Artistic Director, Peter Glanville and Barb Jungr. Glanville also directs Mark Houston(Michael), Aminita Francis (Teacher/Mum) and Todd Heppenstall (Brother) in the production. Check out the trailer below!

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).
