Multiple Emmy and Golden Globe winner Ed Asner and Emmy and Golden Globe Nominee Marion Ross (Happy Days, Brothers & Sisters, Gilmore Girls), join an award-winning cast for a limited-time performance of a new sitcom, I've Got a Life in Kalamazoo, produced by the Emmy award-winning team of Teresa L. Thome and Patrick W. Ziegler of fubble entertainment, LLC. The performances take place at the Museum of Broadcast Communications (MBC) April 13 and 14, and will be filmed in front of a live audience, which will be used to pitch the show to network executives. Two time Tony Award nominee and Broadway favorite Marcia Lewis passed away on, December 21 in her home in Nashville, Tennessee. The beloved, 72 year old character actress lost a battle to both brain and lung cancer. Lewis is survived by her husband, Fred Bryan. Broadway Beat has given us a special 'in memory' tribute clip of the star from her 1992 club act at Eighty-Eight's from the Broadway Beat Archives. (more...)
