The Muny announced the lead cast for its upcoming production of SHREK THE MUSICAL, with Nik Walker, Kara Lindsay, and Marcus M. Martin heading the company at Forest Park in St. Louis.

Celtic Woman will return to North America in spring 2026 with a new tour, CELTIC WOMAN – A NEW ERA, launching March 4 in Providence, Rhode Island. The production will feature vocalists Mairéad Carlin, Muirgen O'Mahony, Ciara Ní Mhurchú, and Caitríona Sherlock.

The GRAMMY-nominated global music sensation Celtic Woman, the all-female Irish group, is set to return to North America for their brand-new tour, CELTIC WOMAN – A NEW ERA.

The iconic rock musical Hair is back in a bold new Brazilian production directed by Charles Möeller and Claudio Botelho. Opening at São Paulo’s BTG Pactual Hall, the show celebrates the spirit of the 1960s counterculture — peace, love, and rebellion — through powerful anthems like Aquarius and Let the Sunshine In. With a cast of 30 led by Rodrigo Simas and Eduardo Borelli, this vibrant staging fuses rock, poetry, and raw emotion to explore freedom, identity, and protest in a turbulent era. Nearly six decades after its debut, Hair still pulses with youthful defiance and idealism, inviting audiences to sing, reflect, and feel the rhythm of a revolution that never truly ended.

There is more news from the Kennedy Center. The D.C. cultural institution just announced the appointment of Stephen Nakagawa as its new Director of Dance Programming.

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced further casting for Hamlet, directed by the multi award-winning Rupert Goold and running in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from Saturday 8 February – Saturday 29 March 2025, with press night on Tuesday 18 February 2025.

Birmingham Rep has released all new photos from Becoming Nancy, directed and choroegraphed by Jerry Mitchell. The musical will host its official press night in Birmingham on Tuesday 15 October 2024.

Ford’s Theatre announced the cast and creative team for MISTER LINCOLN, featuring David Selby as Abraham Lincoln. The production will run from October 10 to November 15, 2024.

In 2024, Abraham will premiere two evening-length works, Cassette Vol. 1 in Hamburg, German in August, and in December ‘Dear Lord, Make Me Beautiful’ at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City. 

Bay Area-based contemporary music group Ensemble for These Times has announced its 17th Home Season entitled 'Women in Transit,' the first in a two-year exploration of the transformational effects of women's border-crossing and liminality in 'our times.'
