Oh What A Ride! Productions and Crow's Theatre will present DANCER at Toronto's Terminal Theatre, featuring the original creative team and cast in an expanded staging of the 2023 Fringe Festival hit.

Excellent production shines a light on the fight for equal rights for Black citizens in 1960s United States. More productions like this are needed to educate and tell this story.

The Harmon & Harriet Kelley Collection of African American Art: Works on Paper, an exhibition that celebrates 54 African American artists and their tremendous contributions to U.S. art and culture, continues at Bedford Gallery through December 18.

Regina King's directorial debut One Night In Miami, just premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The film is an adaptation of the Olivier-nominated stage play by Kemp Powers.

Leslie Odom, Jr. is set to play singer Sam Cooke in Regina King's directorial debut One Night In Miami, according to Deadline. The film also stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as civil rights activist Malcolm X, Eli Goree as Cassius Clay right before he became Muhammad Ali, Aldis Hodge   as gridiron great Jim Brown.

Freedom Summer is a new musical about the events surrounding the summer of 1964 in Meridian, Mississippi. The show follows the crusade for equality through racism, corruption and violence.
