2026 is halfway over, which means that the 2026/27 Broadway season has just begun! Now that the 79th Annual Tony Awards have concluded, all eyes are already on the lineup for the new Broadway season and many Broadway productions have already revealed full details of their upcoming engagements.

Chicago Opera Theater has revealed its 2026-2027 Season, featuring two Chicago premieres with expanded, including The Importance of Being Earnest, plus investments in new work and arts education.

The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra will close its season with electric violinist Tracy Silverman and a program featuring Dvořák's New World Symphony at the Capitol Theatre in Wheeling, WV.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andris Nelsons, will present two nights of classical music featuring guest soloists Himari and Yo-Yo Ma at Carnegie Hall in April 2027.

With direction by André Heller-Lopes and musical direction by Priscila Bomfim, this production brings together Italian composer Giacomo Puccini and German composer Richard Strauss. This time, we will be presenting Strauss's opera Friedenstag (Day of Peace) for the first time in Latin America. Alongside it, another rarity: Le Villi (The Fairies), Puccini's first opera, forming an exclusive double bill featuring two one-act operas.

A new version of the classic, The Pirates of Penzance, is currently commanding the stage at Roundabout’s Todd Haimes Theatre on 42nd Street—formerly the American Airlines and before that, the Selwyn. This revisal of the beloved show is titled: Pirates! The Penzance Musical.
