Playwright Lucas Hnath was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Later his move to New York led him to study Pre-Med, but soon he changed his major to Dramatic Writing, where he studied at Tisch School for the Arts earning a BFA, and subsequently following an MFA. Hnath is the playwright of 10 Dramatic works. His Broadway Debut and most notably his best work A Doll's House Part 2, debuted on Broadway in April of 2017 and closed in September later that year. Commissioned by South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, Hnath's contemporary spin/sequel to the Ibsen classic starred Laurie Metcalf, Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell, and Condola Rashad. Metcalf later went on to win a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Nora Helmer. Subsequently, Hnath's work was also a nominee for Best Play at the time.

In this familiar yet estranged city, a tragic story is revealed as the court case unfolds, highlighting the deficiency and pathos of urban survival. An Unjust Good Fellow is written by Callas Cheang and directed by Octavian Chan. At its 2017 premiere, the play received tremendous acclaim during its sold-out run. Actor Ng Ka Leung's portrayal of an Alzheimer's patient earned him a nomination as Outstanding Actor at the 9th Hong Kong Theatre Libre. The original cast returns for this revival, including newly crowned Golden Horse "Best Supporting Actor" Ben Yuen, Sung Boon Ho, Man Sui Hing and Ng Ka Leung. An Unjust Good Fellow will appear at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Studio Theatre from December 21st to 30th 2018. Tickets are now available for sale in URBTIX outlets.

In an original take on a classic story, The Rose Theater will transform into the jungles of India in their upcoming production of The Jungle Book. This thrilling adventure story follows the story of Mowgli, a baby in India who wanders away from his village and into the jungle where he is raised by wolves. The 70-minute production opens at The Rose on Oct. 28 and continues through Nov. 13.
