Tony Award Winner Steve Kazee Will Play 54 Below for Two Shows in Mayby BWW News Desk - Apr 18, 2013Steve Kazee - the 2012 Tony Award winner for his performance as Guy in Once - will make his 54 Below debut with two shows on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 at 8:00pm. The concerts will be Kazee's first chance to showcase his original songs for audiences alongside his band The Shiny Liars. Written in an alt-country vein and reflecting his southern upbringing, Kazee's inspirations are artists such as Damien Jurado, Night Beds, Wilco and others, a few of which Kazee will cover at the show. The concert is a tune up to recording his debut album this summer with plans for an early fall release. (more...)
