Easton's State Theatre has announced its 2012-13 season- on sale to State Theatre Members Wed, August 1 (Box Office window at 453 Northampton Street opens at 6 AM; Online Ticketing and Phone lines open at Noon). Tickets will go on sale to the Public August 15th at 10 AM. Limit 6 tickets per Member per performance during Members Only sales. USA's NECESSARY ROUGHNESS Online Series Now Live

As NECESSARY ROUGHNESS enters its third season, USA Network is debuting TK Gets Real, a webisode series focused on Terrance 'TK' King (Mehcad Brooks), The Hawk's star receiver who is on a quest to become a reality star. Fans will get a window into TK's personal life that dovetails with the on-air storyline as he looks to extend his reputation beyond football this season. He enlists the help of former Bravo 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Shereé Whitfield, along with Dr. Dani's new assistant Paloma (Karissa Lee Staples), to stir up some drama and create a sizzle reel to dazzle Hollywood. Hartt's NUTCRACKER to Feature Local Celebrities

The Hartt School Community Division (HCD) production of Tchaikovsky's timeless holiday classic The Nutcracker features a range of special guests in cameo roles through the course of its four-performance run. Special guests from the community joining the cast include Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman and Chad Williams, Director of Program Services of the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford. Closer to home, University President Walter Harrison; acclaimed Head Women's Basketball Coach Jennifer Rizzotti; and Miss Connecticut, Emily Audibert, also appear in cameo roles. Miss Audibert is a senior at the University of Hartford with a triple major in economics/finance, accounting, and entrepreneurial studies. She will represent Connecticut at the 2013 Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas in January. University of Hartford mascot Howie The Hawk, as well as Pucky the Whale, beloved mascot of Connecticut Whale, also make appearances. (more...)

Dana Carvey Comes to Easton, 5/2

Dana Carvey is best known for his Saturday Night Live characters the Church Lady; Hans, of the Hans and Franz body building duo; Garth, Wayne Campbell's (Mike Myers) "Excellent Co-Host" on the immensely popular sketch "Wayne's World," and Weekend Updates Grumpy Old Man. In addition to these characters, Dana has received widespread praise for his uncanny comedic impersonations of such political figures as Ex- President George Bush, H.
