Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of The Other Place, the new play by Sharr White, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The limited engagement will play its final performance today, March 3. On that date, the show will have played 34 previews and 61 regular performances. Manhattan Theatre Club announces the guests for the upcoming Sloan panel discussing Sharr White's The Other Place. The panel will focus on the role of science in the play and will feature novelist Stefan Merrill Block, author of The Story of Forgetting; playwright Sharr White; neuroscientist Heather Berlin; and genetic counselor Jill Goldman. The panel will be moderated by NPR's Robert Krulwich. The panel will follow the 2 PM matinee performance today, January 27 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). (more...)
