Performance Network Announces Three Community Discussions for THE MOUNTAINTOP

Performance Network Theatre is proud to present three community discussions on Monday, May 13 at 6pm, Sunday, May 19 at 4:30pm, and Sunday, June 2 at 4:30pm regarding "The Mountaintop," by Katori Hall - the current Performance Network production that is an imagined portrayal of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s last night on earth. Playwrights Horizons presents Far From Heaven, a new musical with book by Tony Award winner and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, Three Days of Rain, the current Breakfast at Tiffany's and The Assembled Parties both now on Broadway), music by Tony Award nominee Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway, Finding Neverland) and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Michael Korie (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway, The Grapes of Wrath, Finding Neverland). The musical is choreographed by Alex Sanchez (Giant, Fiorello!) and directed by three-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway; Rent, Next to Normal, Giant). THE AMERICAN PLAN to Transfer to St. James Theatre

St. James Theatre and Theatre Royal Bath Productions present the Ustinov Studio production of The American Plan by Richard Greenberg, directed by David Grindley. The production will transfer to the St. James Theatre from Tuesday 2 July to Saturday 10 August 2013, with press night on Monday 8 July at 7pm. The production received its UK premiere earlier this year at the Ustinov Studio, Bath. Booking opens for members and friends of the St. James Theatre on Monday 6 May and to the general public on Wednesday 8 May 2013. (more...)

WICKED Tickets Go On Sale 5/20 in Minneapolis

Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that tickets for Wicked running September 18-October 27, 2013 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre, will go on public sale at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20. From 10 a.m. to Noon, tickets will only be available in person at the State Theatre Box Office. Beginning at noon, tickets will also be sold online through HennepinTheatreTrust.org, by calling 1.800.982.2787 or visiting a Ticketmaster Outlet Center.
