SISTER ACT Heads to Bway, Spring 2011

Just posted on the Stage Entertainment web site is official word that "Sister Act, the musical developed by Stage Entertainment in coproduction with Whoopi Goldberg, will go to Broadway in the spring of 2011. The musical opened one year ago in London and is now almost ready for an international rollout. This fall the show will premiere in Hamburg, Germany and there is interest from Japan, Korea, Canada and Australia." (more...)

London's SISTER ACT Shutters Early on October 20, 2010

According to Whatsonstage.com, Sister Act has announced that it will shutter early on October 20 2010. The show was originally set to close in January 2011. Producers are preparing for their Broadway transfer, slated for Spring 2011, as well as a UK tour in the fall of 2011. (more...)

PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT to Open on Broadway March 6, 2011?

According to an equity casting notice, the West End hit, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, will open on Broadway at a house to be announced on March 6, 2011.
