Beginning October 24, Tommy Steele will return to the West End once again headlining SCROOGE.
Tommy Steele’s performances at the London Palladium in Scrooge, most recently in 2005, sent him into the record books as the star to have headlined the most performances at the London theatre. A plaque was mounted at the Palladium to honour the achievement.
Steele's career includes over twenty hit singles, Hollywood movie hits such as THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE and FINIAN’S RAINBOW, and countless award winning stage musicals such as HALF A SIXPENCE, HANS ANDERSEN and SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN.
Described as "the perfect family treat, Scrooge is a heartwarming story with stunning sets and costumes, specially created illusions by magician Paul Kieve (acclaimed for the magic effects in the Harry Potter films) and a fantastic musical score which features the Oscar nominated hit 'Thank You Very Much.'"
Beginning tonight, October 24 and running through January 5, Tommy Steele will return to the West End once again headlining Scrooge, with direction from Bob Tomson and design from Paul Farnsworth.
