Tennis Star Andy Roddick Named New FOX SPORTS LIVE Co-Host

Andy Roddick, at one time the No. 1 men's tennis player in the world and a Grand Slam singles champion, is joining FOX Sports 1, America's new sports network launching August 17, as a co-host for FOX SPORTS LIVE, the network's flagship news, opinion and highlights program. FX Orders THE COMEDIANS Pilot Starring Billy Crystal

According to Deadline, the legendary comedic actor's new series THE COMEDIANS from Matt Nix (BURN NOTICE) and Larry Charles (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM), has been picked up by FX, and promptly given a series order. Crystal co-wrote with Charles and Ben Wexler (COMMUNITY) and also executive produce. (more...)

Farah Alvin (Nine, Grease!, The Marvelous Wonderettes) , Anika Larsen (Avenue Q, Rent, Closer Than Ever, Xanadu), Patti Murin (Wicked, Lysistrata Jones), Samia Najimy Finnerty, N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical, Sondheim on Sondheim), Orfeh (Legally Blonde, The Gershwins' Fascinating Rhythm, Love, Janis, Saturday Night Fever), Jarrod Spector(Jersey Boys, Les Miserables) and American Idol Finalist Erika Van Pelt will comprise the lineup for the June 10 edition of The Pop Show, part of the Broadway at Birdland series at Birdland Jazz Club. ABC Studios Announce New 2013-2014 Series Orders

ABC Studios had another banner development year with nine new shows ordered to series. New dramas "Betrayal," "Killer Women," "Lucky 7," "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland," "Resurrection," along with new comedies "Trophy Wife" and "Mixology," were picked up at ABC. New drama "Intelligence" was ordered at CBS. ABC Studios had the most drama orders of any studio. (more...)

BWW Reviews: Eden Espinosa Charms Nashville Audiences...Cabaret Style

Come to the Cabaret…The Absinthe Cabaret, that is. Saturday Night was the inaugural event of the newly formed Absinthe Cabaret in Franklin, TN. Executive Producer, Carolan Trbovich lined up a fantastic first event, with Broadway star Eden Espinosa headlining, and theatre and stage musician Johnny Rodgers hosting. Eden is best known for her roles as Elphaba in Wicked, for playing Maureen in the final cast of RENT on Broadway, and for originating the role of Brooklyn in the musical Brooklyn. Johnny Rodgers has toured with Liza Minnelli and appeared on Broadway with her during her show, Liza's at the Palace. (more...)

B-Boy 'Lil Rock' Wins Red Bull BC One Las Vegas Cypher

Sin City was set afire on Saturday Night as the best b-boys from the West Coast went head to head in a fierce battle during the Red Bull BC One Cypher under the lighted canopy at the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. The open-air location allowed more than 2,000 spectators to be treated to a night of intense battles, and ultimately, the Red Bull BC One judges Neguin (Red Bull BC One All Star), Teknyc (Skill Methodz Crew) and Floor Rock (Rock Skittles) crowned Lil Rock as the Las Vegas regional champion. Aziz Ansari, Zoe Saldana, & More Set for Second Season of IFC's COMEDY BANG! BANG!

The second season of Comedy Bang! Bang! kicks off on Friday, July 12 at 10PM ET/PT with 20 all new episodes and a robust line-up of famous faces. The first ten episodes will air from July 12 - September 13, followed by a short fall hiatus before picking back up on Friday, October 18 for ten more episodes. Host Scott Aukerman (co-creator/director/producer, Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis; writer/performer, Mr. Show) and musical cohort Reggie Watts (Conan, Reggie Watts: A Live At Central Park, Jash.com) both return to Comedy Bang!
