Jersey Tap Fest, NJ's sole dance festival featuring world-class tap faculty and extravaganza, celebrates four years August 22-25, 2013 in Bloomfield, NJ. The four-day festival will offer more than 30 tap dance classes and a main stage celebration event TAP 'N TIME. The Garden State tap dance festival also provides the public various opportunities to participate and interact with tap dancing through a jam session, student showcase and faculty meet and greet. Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon Join THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS in London

The Young Vic and Catherine Schreiber announced today that Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon, stars of the original Broadway production, join the UK premiere of The Scottsboro Boys, directed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. Colman played Private Harold Green in Steven Spielberg's multi-award winning epic Lincoln, and reprises his Tony Award nominated role of Mr. Bones, alongside fellow nominee Forrest McClendon who plays Mr. Tambo. Also joining the Young Vic cast fresh from Broadway are Christian Dante-White (Charles Weems) and Clinton Roane (Roy Wright). First Lady of the Joffrey Ballet Dame Patricia Kennedy to Receive Ellis Island Medal of Honor

An Ambassador for World Peace, Patricia Kennedy designed the Peace One Earth Medallion in 2008 as a tribute to our soldiers from past and present conflicts. The distinctive design of the medallion expresses gratitude to the defenders of our freedoms, while acknowledging the hope for a world at peace. The medallion has been presented to many dignitaries, public figures, and members of our military in honor of their efforts to improve the lives of our veterans, and their commitment towards world peace. The first recipient was Wayne Newton* for his dedication to our troops and veterans through his extraordinary work with the USO. Other notable recipients include Gary Sinise* Dr. Buzz Aldrin, Hugh O'Brian* , Stefanie Powers, Kate Linder, Ed Begley Jr., Mike Vogel, Luc Robitaille, Rick Monday and Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los Angeles. The Barns at Wolf Trap Announce Upcoming Performances

The Chicago City Limits National Touring Company arrives at The Barns at Wolf Trap to perform their highly lauded improvisational parodies. As New York City's longest running comedic act, which in the past has hosted comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, and Robin Williams among others, the actors of Chicago City Limits recount today's hard news through a series of hilariously relevant satirical sketches. In 2008 and 2009 the troupe was bestowed the MAC Award for Best Comedy/Improv Group by The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs. Regularly performing at academic institutions and performing arts venues across the United States, the touring company cast has also made appearances at Super Bowl XXIII, HBO's US Comedy Arts Festival, Lincoln Center, the Smithsonian Institution, and The Today Show. 3Stages' IRISH HOOLEY Returns 3/8

From the producer of An Irish Christmas comes this Irish Hooley ("boisterous party")-pipes, flutes, harp, fiddle, bodhrans, dancing, singing, and storytelling-featuring the seven-piece band Slugger O'Toole and members of the superb Kerry Dance team, which includes dancers from Lord of the Dance, Riverdance and more. Fraser Press. WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 13th Street Rep (50 West 13th Street, NYC).
