Paul Rudnick is the playwright who wrote Jeffrey, The New Century and I Hate Hamlet. He also wrote the screenplays for In and Out, Adam's Family Values, and Sister Act. He is the winner of The Outer Critics Circle Award for his play Poor Little Lambs and The Obie Award and the John Gasner Playwrighting Award for Jeffrey. He has written two Novels: Social Disease and I'll Take It. Ben Brantley of The New York Times says 'Paul Rudnick may be the funniest writer for the stage and he confirms that with Fabulous.' Long & Crowley Among 4 Recipients Of Irene Sharaff Awards

Legendary designers WILLIAM IVEY LONG and BOB CROWLEY are among the four recipients of the 2009 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards. Five-time Tony Award winning costume designer William Ivey Long will receive the 2009 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for theatrical costume design, and, for his achievements as both a costume and scenic designer, Bob Crowley (also a five-time Tony Award winner) will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards' special Robert L. B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatrical Design at a ceremony on Friday, March 27, at the Hudson Theatre in New York City. (more...)

Bacon Joins Carell For New Warner Bros. Film

Kevin Bacon will join Steve Carell in an untitled Dan Fogelman-Steve Carell project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct the movie for Warner Bros. Filming will begin in late April. (more...)
