Tony and three-time Emmy Award-winner Amanda Plummer will return to the New York stage after a 15-year absence, along with Academy Award-nominated actor Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) in the Off-Broadway premiere production of Tennessee Williams' rarely seen The Two-Character Play at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Previews begin Monday, June 10. Opening Night is set for June 19 at 8:00 p.m. Equal parts Southern Gothic thriller, black comedy and psychological drama, the work, written during a time of great personal strife, is abstractly based on Williams' close yet complicated relationship with his sister, Rose. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present a new production of Bertolt Brecht's The Caucasian Chalk Circle featuring Christopher Lloyd (Azdak), directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening). Now, in a new musical event featuring more than a dozen singers and band members, playwright-director Randy Johnson creates 'a compelling portrait of an artist' (Culturemob) through the words, inspiration and music of one of America's greatest rock 'n' roll originals. Bergen County Players to Present BOEING BOEING, Beginning 5/4

The Bergen County Players (BCP) of Oradell will conclude its 80th mainstage season with a limited engagement of Marc Camoletti's Tony Award-winning acclaimed non-stop farce Boeing Boeing, directed by Alyson Cohn. Doors will slam and laughs will fly at the Little Firehouse Theatre on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell from May 4th through June 2nd. Shows will be on Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm, but there will be no performances on Memorial Day weekend.
