THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN Headed for Broadway Spring 2013 Starring Estelle Parsons and Stephen Spinella

According to The Washington Post, Molly Smith, artistic director of Arena Stage has signed on to direct a production of Eric Coble's THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN on Broadway in the Spring of 2013, a production that'll mark Broadway debuts for both. Lead producer Larry Kaye has said that signed on to star will be Estelle Parsons and Stephen Spinella. (more...)

Named for playwright Lillian Hellman, The Lilly Awards were created to recognize the extraordinary contributions made by women to the American Theater. Huntington Presents A Reading Of UNKNOWN SOLDIER 6/13

A new musical by Michael Friedman and Daniel Goldstein will be read this Sunday, June 13 at 5:30pm as part of the Huntington Theatre Company's Breaking Ground reading series, held at the Huntington's Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. Academy Award-winning actress and Broadway veteran Estelle Parsons is back on Broadway in David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. She most recently starred on Broadway in August: Osage County, and then went on to tour with the production.
