Destination America's Latest Series LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL to Debut 6/10

It's the perfect recipe for a night cap: one part hungry bar-goers, two parts finger-lickin' food, a dash of great everyday cooks, with a Golden Fry Basket to garnish. It all adds up to a mouth-watering plateful of Destination America's newest competition series, LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL, hosted by Adam Gertler, a runner-up for Next Food Network Star and all-around food enthusiast. Each episode visits a different American city to challenge four cooks, hailing from 24-hour diners to mom and pop eateries, in a cook-off to determine who will be crowned the king or queen of late night bites. The food brawls attract a raucous audience hungry for munchies that are salty and sweet, like deep fried bacon chili cheeseburger and peanut butter s'more french toast. LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL heads to some of the biggest late night cities in the U.S. to indulge in each town's local flavor, including New Orleans, Austin, Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta. Million Dollar Quartet announces that this Saturday, May 26, 2013 marks the official date at which it becomes the longest-running musical production in Chicago's history. With 1,949 performances and 5 smash years in Chicago, the Tony Award-winning rock 'n' roll musical has surpassed both Wicked and Pumpboys and Dinettes, setting a new record for the longest running Broadway musical in Chicago. The Broadway Dreams Foundation will kick off its 2013 Summer Performing Arts Intensive Tour, titled 'Circle of Dreams,' at RISPA in Atlanta, GA on June 3, 2013 followed by week-long intensives in Charlotte, NC at Mathews Playhouse; UCLA in Los Angeles, CA; Omaha Performing Arts in Omaha, NE; KimMel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA and Hartford Stage in Hartford, CT. The organization just celebrated the start of the season and the three new educational initiatives at a reception on May 20 at the Room Mate Grace Hotel in NYC. Up on the Marquee: FIRST DATE

Tony Award-winning producer Junkyard Dog Productions (Memphis) has just announced that leading man Zachary Levi, star of TV's 'Chuck,' Disney's feature film Tangled and the upcoming Thor: The Dark World, will make his Broadway debut starring opposite Broadway and television ingenue Krysta Rodriguez ('Smash,' The Addams Family) in First Date, Broadway's new romantic musical comedy. With a book by Austin Winsberg ('Gossip Girl'), music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (Secondhand Lions, Twice Charmed) and musical staging by Josh Rhodes (Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella) First Date is directed by Bill Berry (Producing Director of The 5th Avenue Theatre). Featuring Sara Chase ('Arrested Development,' The Toxic Avenger), Kristoffer Cusick (Wicked, Rent), Blake Hammond (Sister Act, Billy Elliot) and Kate Loprest ('Boardwalk Empire,' Hairspray), the cast of First Date also includes Vicki Noon (Wicked, Mamma Mia!). First Date begins performances Tuesday, July 9, 2013, and opens Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Additional casting to be announced shortly. Wynonna Judd Set for DANCING WITH THE STARS Finale

WYNONNA JUDD will once again take a turn around the ballroom when she returns to ABC's “Dancing With The Stars” for the Tuesday, May 21 two-hour season finale, airing live 9-11pm ET. The five-time Grammy winner will perform a show-stopping opening dance number with all her fellow celebrity cast members and the pro and troupe dancers. Later in the program WYNONNA will do what she does best, sing her concert favorite “I Want To Know What Love Is.” Her version of the classic is included on her album What The World Needs Now Is Love. ABC & ESPN to Exclusively Air 2013 NBA Western Conference Finals

ABC and ESPN will combine to exclusively televise the 2013 NBA Western Conference Finals - San Antonio Spurs and four-time NBA Champion Tim Duncan vs. Memphis Grizzlies and Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol - beginning with Game 1 on Sunday, May 19, on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET. Remaining Western Conference Finals games will air on ESPN at 9 p.m. Mike Breen will serve as the voice of the Western Conference Finals with reporter Doris Burke and analyst Hubie Brown (Game 1) and Jeff Van Gundy (Game 2 through remainder of series). All games will also be available on ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes and WatchESPN. The Finals on ABC will begin Thursday, June 6. (more...)

Dance Against Cancer Raises More Than $96,000

The third annual Dance Against Cancer at the AXA Equitable Theater on Monday, May 6, 2013 raised more than $96,000 for the American Cancer Society. The evening began with cocktails at 6pm, a performance at 7pm, and a reception at 8:30pm. (more...)

Carole King Set for 'In Performance at the White House' Series, 5/22

As part of their "In Performance at the White House" series, the President and First Lady will host a concert in the East Room honoring singer-songwriter Carole King, who will be awarded the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. President Obama will present the award as he did when the Library of Congress honored Stevie Wonder (2009), Sir Paul McCartney (2010), and the songwriting team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David (2012). The program will include performances by King, as well as Gloria Estefan, Billy Joel, Jesse McCartney, Emeli Sande, James Taylor and Trisha Yearwood. (more...)

The Almost to Launch U.S. Tour in Florida, 6/6

As the acclaimed rock group THE ALMOST prepare to release their third album FEAR INSIDE OUR BONES on June 11 via Tooth & Nail/RED Distribution, the group has announced they'll kick off a U.S. headlining tour on June 6. For the month-long trek, which includes stops in Denver, Seattle, Los Angeles and more, THE ALMOST has partnered with GIGG.com to launch 'The Almost Tournament' which allows local musicians the chance to open up for the band every night on the tour. Starting today, musicians in each city can upload performance videos directly via the Gigg.com platform according to the deadlines listed: http://gigg.com/tournaments/The_Almost. Fans can vote to select each winning act and all winners will be notified one week in advance of their performance date. Mark Okun and Hillary Brower Co-Write A SHORT JEW IN THE BODY OF A TALL W.A.S.P.

Blond-haired, blue-eyed Mark Okun knew from an early age that he was adopted, raised by short, European Jews.
