Destination America's Latest Series LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL to Debut 6/10by TV News Desk - May 22, 2013It's the perfect recipe for a night cap: one part hungry bar-goers, two parts finger-lickin' food, a dash of great everyday cooks, with a Golden Fry Basket to garnish. It all adds up to a mouth-watering plateful of Destination America's newest competition series, LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL, hosted by Adam Gertler, a runner-up for Next Food Network Star and all-around food enthusiast. Each episode visits a different American city to challenge four cooks, hailing from 24-hour diners to mom and pop eateries, in a cook-off to determine who will be crowned the king or queen of late night bites. The food brawls attract a raucous audience hungry for munchies that are salty and sweet, like deep fried bacon chili cheeseburger and peanut butter s'more french toast. LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL heads to some of the biggest late night cities in the U.S. to indulge in each town's local flavor, including New Orleans, Austin, Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta. Up on the Marquee: FIRST DATEby Jennifer Broski - May 21, 2013Tony Award-winning producer Junkyard Dog Productions (Memphis) has just announced that leading man Zachary Levi, star of TV's 'Chuck,' Disney's feature film Tangled and the upcoming Thor: The Dark World, will make his Broadway debut starring opposite Broadway and television ingenue Krysta Rodriguez ('Smash,' The Addams Family) in First Date, Broadway's new romantic musical comedy. With a book by Austin Winsberg ('Gossip Girl'), music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (Secondhand Lions, Twice Charmed) and musical staging by Josh Rhodes (Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella) First Date is directed by Bill Berry (Producing Director of The 5th Avenue Theatre). Featuring Sara Chase ('Arrested Development,' The Toxic Avenger), Kristoffer Cusick (Wicked, Rent), Blake Hammond (Sister Act, Billy Elliot) and Kate Loprest ('Boardwalk Empire,' Hairspray), the cast of First Date also includes Vicki Noon (Wicked, Mamma Mia!). The five-time Grammy winner will perform a show-stopping opening dance number with all her fellow celebrity cast members and the pro and troupe dancers. ABC & ESPN to Exclusively Air 2013 NBA Western Conference Finalsby TV News Desk - May 18, 2013 ABC and ESPN will combine to exclusively televise the 2013 NBA Western Conference Finals - San Antonio Spurs and four-time NBA Champion Tim Duncan vs. Memphis Grizzlies and Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol - beginning with Game 1 on Sunday, May 19, on ABC at 3:30 p.m. ET. Remaining Western Conference Finals games will air on ESPN at 9 p.m. Mike Breen will serve as the voice of the Western Conference Finals with reporter Doris Burke and analyst Hubie Brown (Game 1) and Jeff Van Gundy (Game 2 through remainder of series).
