World's Largest Kaleidoscope on Display in Salem, Oregon

All eyes are on A.C. Gilbert's Discovery Village, Salem's museum for kids, as the museum becomes home to an intriguing piece of artwork called Eye Euphoria. Considered the first of its kind in the world, this oversized stained glass Kaleidoscope is now on display in the lobby of the Gilbert House, one of the Village's three historic houses. Created by the late artist Donald Ferris of Woodland, Washington, Eye Euphoria took more than 2,500 hours to craft using authentic leaded glass and three window layers with adjustable spin and rotation speed. Partly Cloudy People has announced its production of Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still, directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. ArtCenter/South Florida to Open UNPREDICTABLE PATTERNS OF BEHAVIOR, 6/5

ArtCenter/South Florida's new exhibition 'Unpredictable Patterns of Behavior' opens June 5th at both its Richard Shack Gallery (800 Lincoln Road) and at Project 924 (located upstairs at 924 Lincoln Road) and will be on view from June 1-July 28, 2013. ALTERED STATES Screens with Live Orchestra at Fulcrum Point Tonight

Expanding on its popular 'Movie Music' programs that feature live orchestration of film scene scores, Chicago's new art music leader, Fulcrum Point New Music Project, with a 100-member orchestra, presents the complete film score and screening of the 1980 science fiction classic, Altered States. The live score performance is part of a citywide, four-day 'Forever Young' festival celebrating the 75th birthday of modern master composer John Corigliano.
