Silver Spring Stage Presents FROST/NIXON, Opening 4/5

Silver Spring Stage presents Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan, directed by Kevin O'Connell and produced by Devon Seybert, the engrossing dramatization of how the then-washed up talk-show host David Frost convinced the disgraced Richard Nixon to be interviewed for television. Frost/Nixon will perform weekends April 5 to April 27. Silver Spring Stage is excited to announce that Jim Reston, one of the team members that prepared David Frost for the historic Frost/Nixon interviews, will participate in a post-performance discussion on Sunday April 21. On The Today Show July 12, Broadway's Jenny Powers sang Kathie Lee Gifford and David Friedman's most recent collaboration, 'You Do The Impossible,' on the 'Everyone Has a Story' segment honoring triathlete and cancer survivor Molli Serrano. As February gallops to an end, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is hard at work, preparing a local production of the classic musical THE MAN OF LA MANCHA. With a score by Mitch Leigh, lyrics by Joe Darion, and a book by Dale Wasserman, the acclaimed musical is inspired by Dale Wasserman's teleplay I, Don Quixote and Miguel de Cervantes classic novel Don Quixote.
