Cohen & West to Star in Churchill's 'Drunk Enough?' at The Public

The Public Theater continues its spring season with the U.S. premiere of Drunk Enough to Say I Love You?, a new play by Caryl Churchill presented in association with the Royal Court Theatre. This two-character play, directed by James Macdonald and featuring Scott Cohen and Samuel West, comes to The Public after an acclaimed run at the Royal Court in London last year. Drunk Enough to Say I Love You? will begin previews on Wednesday, March 5 and run through Sunday, April 6 with an official press opening on Sunday, March 16 at 7PM. (more...)

Benanti, Neenan, And Poe Join Cast Of WHY TORTURE IS WRONG

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced complete casting today for Christopher Durang's WHY TORTURE IS WRONG, AND THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM. Laura Benanti, Audrie Neenan, and Richard Poe will join the previously announced Amir Arison, David Aaron Baker, Kristine Nielsen, and John Pankow in this world premiere comedy, directed by Nicholas Martin. WHY TORTURE IS WRONG, AND THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE THEM begins previews on March 24 and runs through April 26 with an official press opening on Monday, April 6 at 7 PM. (more...)
