Cover your ears, because Zachariah Hickman has the perfect way to celebrate leap year... using every swear word you can think of! Hickman has assembled a band to celebrate the big day with a concert so filthy it would make a sailor cry. Hickman and his cast of co-conspirators will present an evening dedicated to the finest songs that feature cursing. Lane Bradbury may have been born and raised as a Southern Belle in Georgia, and performed on Broadway, in films, and on television, but there's a Parisian chanteuse in her soul. Now 81, but with the energy of a performer half her age, the original 'Dainty June' in the 1959 Broadway production of Gypsy will present a cabaret program of classic French compositions in her new show, MON HISTOIRE EN CHANSONS FRANCAISES (My Story in French Songs) at Pangea (178 2nd Ave, between 11th and 12th Streets, NYC), on February 13 at 7 pm. Benson Foundation for the Arts celebrates their 20th anniversary season on stage at the W.J. Barefoot Auditorium. The Benson Foundation for the Arts was formed with the support of Benson town government to revitalize the former Benson High School Auditorium, which sat vacant since 1981.  The goal: to provide a facility to accommodate the cultural and civic needs of the area. Now 20 years later, the 2019-20 season fills the W.J. Barefoot Auditorium with widely beloved classics as well as sensational local favorites.

The seventh annual Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos, a presentation by TMC Arts, The Music Center's programming engine, expands to include the newly renovated Music Center Plaza as well as a one-night only Selena for Sanctuary concert. Raising awareness of social justice issues concerning immigration in Los Angeles, the concert will feature an all-female line-up of Los Angeles-based artists, including Empress Of, San Cha and Ceci Bastida. Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos is a community-wide event that upholds this cultural tradition, remembering those who have passed away and inviting all Angelenos to experience and learn about the observance.

Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage the rock and roll classic, BYE BYE BIRDIE, July 18 at 7 pm, July 19 at 7pm, July 20 at 2pm and 7pm, and July 21 at 3pm. All four performances will be at the historic Bangor Opera House, 131 Main Street, Bangor.

This one-time-only performance features Boston community members sharing true stories about their personal challenges with mental illness and health. These stories open a dialogue and create new opportunities for participants and audiences to thoughtfully engage around the topic of mental health. November also marks International Stress Awareness Day (November 1), Veterans Day (November 11), and International Survivors of Suicide Day (November 17).
