Marcus Center Teams Up with Curves for DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY

The Marcus Center is teaming up with Curves in the Greater Milwaukee Area to offer a special Enter-To-Win Giveaway on Saturday, May 18 at the 3:00 pm performance of Dixie's Tupperware Party for audience members. This hilarious show starring Dixie Longate -- which turned Off-Broadway into a Tupperware-mania celebration and garnered the prestigious 2008 Drama Desk Award Nomination -- rolls into the Marcus Center's Vogel Hall for a strictly limited engagement on May 14-26. Marcus Center's Vogel Hall Welcomes DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY Tonight

Dixie's Tupperware Party, the hilarious Off-Broadway show starring Dixie Longate (2008 Drama Desk Nomination) - will celebrate its 750th performance on tour Wednesday, May 22nd at Milwaukee's Marcus Center (making it one of the longest-running off Broadway tours of the last decade). The show that has played to sell-out performances in 5 countries and brought in more than $3 million in sales has played major markets during its five years on the road. FringeNYC 2013 Applications Now Available; Deadline 2/14

The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC), the largest multi-arts festival in North America, will present the 17th Annual Festival from August 9 - 25, 2013. Each year the festival presents programming by nearly 200 of the world's best emerging theatre troupes and dance companies. General FringeNYC applications are being accepted for participants in all genres (theatre, dance, puppetry, performance art, multi-media, etc.), and separate FringeAL FRESCO (free outdoor events) and FringeJR (children's programming) applications are also available. Chick Corea and Béla Fleck Perform in Milwaukee This April

The last time Chick Corea and Béla Fleck performed together was in 2008. Now, five years later, they are back together touring the country, making a stop in Milwaukee at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:00 p.m. in Uihlein Hall for one performance only. This performance is presented by the Marcus Center as part of its continuing series Marcus Center Presents. Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 18 at 12:00 p.m. at the Marcus Center Box Office.
