Celia Keenan-Bolger Leads SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN Reading for Colt Coeur

Julia Jones, Erica Rotstein and Aaron Schildkrout will host Colt Coeur's Spring Benefitreunion reading of their inaugural world-premiere production. Under the direction of Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Recall, Colt Coeur) original cast members Teddy Bergman (Peter and the Starcatcher, Broadway), Erin Felgar (Billy Witch, Studio 42), Kate Cullen Roberts (Breakfast at Tiffany's, Broadway), Matt Stadelmann (American Sligo, Rattlestick), and Joe Tippett (Fish Eye, Colt Coeur) will be joined by two-time TONY nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger (Peter and the Starcatcher, Broadway) in the play that critics called "wildly charming," "pitch-perfect" and "Pinter meets My So-Called Life" when it premiered in 2010. Playwrights Horizons presents Far From Heaven, a new musical with book by Tony Award winner and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, Three Days of Rain, the current Breakfast at Tiffany's and The Assembled Parties both now on Broadway), music by Tony Award nominee Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway, Finding Neverland) and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Michael Korie (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway, The Grapes of Wrath, Finding Neverland). The musical is choreographed by Alex Sanchez (Giant, Fiorello!) and directed by three-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif (Grey Gardens at PH and on Broadway; Rent, Next to Normal, Giant). The musical is based on the Focus Features/Vulcan Productions motion picture Far From Heaven, written and directed by Todd Haynes. (more...)

The Fox Theatre kicks off the 2013 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival in June with six Oscar-winning films - the adventure classic Raiders of the Lost Ark, the 10th Anniversary of Finding Nemo, two of this year's "Best Picture" nominees Les Miserables and Django Unchained, the Director's Cut of Lawrence of Arabia, and the romantic comedy Breakfast at Tiffany's. THE AMERICAN PLAN to Transfer to St. James Theatre

St. James Theatre and Theatre Royal Bath Productions present the Ustinov Studio production of The American Plan by Richard Greenberg, directed by David Grindley. The production will transfer to the St. James Theatre from Tuesday 2 July to Saturday 10 August 2013, with press night on Monday 8 July at 7pm. The production received its UK premiere earlier this year at the Ustinov Studio, Bath. Booking opens for members and friends of the St. James Theatre on Monday 6 May and to the general public on Wednesday 8 May 2013. (more...)

This will mark the final engagement of this production. Coyote StageWorks to Bring Poignant and Witty TRU to Annenberg Theatre, 4/19-28

Coyote StageWorks is wrapping up its hugely successful 2012/13 Season at the Annenberg Theater with TRU, the award-winning play about Truman Capote, by the outstanding American screenwriter, playwright, stage director, television producer and novelist, Jay Presson Allen. Allen, who also wrote MARNIE, THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODY, CABARET, FUNNY LADY and more, was said to have been at first hesitant to write a play about Truman Capote, who she had met but did not know. In the end, though, her work was praised by everyone, including Capote's family, as accurately portraying one of America's most controversial authors in his last years. (more...)
