STAGE TUBE: On This Day 11/20- Jeremy Jordan

Happy Birthday Jeremy Jordan! This year, Jordan was nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Jack Kelly in NEWSIES, which he began with Paper Mill Playhouse's U.S. touring production in 2011. Jordan has also appeared in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde in 2011, as well as Rock of Ages and West Side Story in 2009. He guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU in 2008 and appeared in the film Joyful Noise. He will soon appear on the upcoming second season of NBC's SMASH. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: On This Day 11/19- Laura Osnes

Happy Birthday Laura Osnes! Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. On March 10, 2009 Osnes took over the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush from Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, who went on maternity leave, in the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway revival of South Pacific. She then starred as Hope Harcourt, alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Osnes then played Bonnie Parker opposite Jeremy Jordan in Bonnie & Clyde, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2011. She will soon lead the upcoming revival of Cinderella. (more...)

Sarah Hyland Signs on for Lifetime & History's BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Sarah Hyland is going from a MODERN FAMILY to a slightly more criminal one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the young actress has officially signed on to join Lifetime and History's upcoming four-part miniseries chronicling the life of the young vigilante duo. The special stars Emile Hirsch as the 'charismatic armed robber' Clyde Barrow, and Holliday Grainger as Bonnie Parker. (more...)

Claybourne Elder, Sean Hudock to Lead ROOM AT THE END OF THE HALL Readings

Claybourne Elder (Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde) and Sean Hudock (Private Romeo) will play estranged brothers Malky and Doug in two industry workshop readings of Rocco Natale's new two-hander ROOM AT THE END OF THE HALL. An absurdist black comedy about the demise of the Duncan family, and, by extension, the species, PTERODACTYLS will feature Emmy Award-winner Penny Fuller (THE DINNER PARTY, APPLAUSE) as Duncan family matriarch, Grace; Tony-nominee Bobby Steggert (RAGTIME) as son, Todd; Virginia Kull (THE HEIRESS) as daughter, Emma; and Claybourne Elder (Bonnie & Clyde) as Emma's fiance Tommy (the role of family patriarch, Arthur, is TBD). History & Lifetime Launch Production on BONNIE & CLYDE Miniseries

Bonnie & Clyde, a star-studded miniseries for HISTORY and LIFETIME, has begun filming on location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The four-hour, two-night event miniseries stars Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) and Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) in the title roles of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, the Depression-era Outlaw couple whose criminal exploits have assured them lasting fame for eight decades. Bonnie & Clyde will be simulcast on HISTORY and Lifetime later this year. The announcement was made by Nancy Dubuc, President, Entertainment and Media, A+E Networks. (more...)
