CHATTER: Chris Rock to Make Broadway Debut in 'Hat'

Michael Riedel reports in today's New York Post that Chris Rock is set to make his Broadway debut, opposite Bobby Cannavale, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabela Sciorra and Yul Vazquez. The play, but Stephen Adly Guirgis is called 'The Motherf***er With the Hat' aka 'Hat'. (more...)

It's Official: Rock, Cannavale to Lead THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT on Broadway in 2011

THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT by Stephen Adly Guirgis will make its world premiere on Broadway starring Bobby Cannavale, Chris Rock, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Annabella Sciorra and Yul Vázquez. Directed by Anna D. Shapiro, the production will open on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street, New York City). LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz; Co-Artistic Director Philip Seymour Hoffman; Co-Artistic Director and Executive Director John Gould Rubin) and The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Mara Manus) announced today that the world premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis' THE LITTLE FLOWER OF EAST ORANGE will extend its run through Sunday, May 4.
