Adjusted for Covid constraints, next year's festival will concentrate on live and online workshops led by top industry professionals, a series of specially commissioned short films to be shown online, a collection of rarely shown physical comedy and slapstick movies at Barbican Cinema 1, plus Zoom talks by various distinguished mime festival participants from recent years.

Hailed as one of the greatest clowns of all time, Peak's Island resident, Avner Eisenberg brings a new film version of his award-winning one-man show, Exceptions to Gravity to Penobscot Theatre Company as the November offering in the theatre company's ambitious 47th Season, Digitus Theatrum.

Productions, theater-in-residence at Mechanics Hall, and the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association (MCMA), the non-profit organization that owns the historic downtown building, hold their third annual winter fundraiser on Saturday, April 1st.

Canal Park Playhouse has announced Avner the Eccentric's return to New York with his show EXCEPTIONS TO GRAVITY, EXCEPTIONS TO GRAVITY begins performances on Friday, March 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 25. Performances take place at Canal Park Playhouse (508 Canal Street, between Greenwich and West Streets in Tribeca).
