which was inspired by the novel Peter Abelard by Helen Waddell
12th-century religious lovers, known for their letters in the age when romantic love was not widely expressed. Famously torn apart by the church, they were only reunited centuries later when Napoleon's Josephine reunited their remains in a grave.

Manca poco al giorno piu atteso dalla comunita teatrale newyorkese (e non solo). Il 10 giugno al Radio City Music Hall di New York si svolgera la 72esima edizione dei Tony Awards, che quest'anno vedra sul palco in veste di presentatori Sara Bareilles e Josh Groban. Il primo maggio, in diretta streaming, Katharine McPhee e Leslie Odom Jr. hanno annunciato i nomi dei concorrenti in gara. Da subito e sembrato chiaro come questa edizione dell'importante premio del musical americano sia segnata da tre grandi titoli: 'Mean Girls', 'SpongeBob SquarePants' e 'The Band's Visit'.

Boston, MA – February 16, 2016 – Boston Lyric Opera (BLO) unleashes Jules Massenet's melodic, romantic French opera Werther from its late 18th Century German source material, bringing it to an early-20th-Century arrondissement outside Paris as part of BLO's French-inspired season. This new production of Werther opens March 11 for a five-performance run at Citi Performing Arts CenterSM Shubert Theatre in Boston.
