The Canadian Stage Company wraps its 2008.2009 season with Doubt, a parable, the award-winning play that's taken North America by storm. Jessica L. Andrews has announced that she is stepping down from her role as Arizona Theatre Company?s Executive Director at the close of the 2008-2009 Season. Jessica Andrews will continue to work with Arizona Theatre Company on a consultant basis, contributing to ATC?s short and long-term goals. Kevin E. Moore will continue to serve as Arizona Theatre Company?s Managing Director, working closely with Artistic Director David Ira Goldstein.

THEATER COMPANY OF LAFAYETTE TO PRESENT ALAN AYCKBOURN'S ABSURD PERSON SINGULAR

The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) has tapped Denver-based advertising agency Cactus to grow the Company?s brand, to promote its world class productions and to cultivate appreciation for theatre in the region. This contract reunites Cactus and DCTC, who formerly partnered together in the late 1990?s.

Tokyo's acclaimed Company East returns to New York with a unique adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Director and choreographer Kenji Kawarasaki's World Premiere production, which blends traditional eastern techniques of Noh with modern western dance to produce culturally rich dance-drama, begins performances on January 29 in The Annex Theatre at La MaMa ETC.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will open its 2008-09 season with Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin starring in William Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST, to be directed by Kulick. Performances begin Wednesday, September 3.
