Wicked and Brooklyn star Eden Espinosa is hosting a CD Release Party on Monday, December 17 for her debut album, Look Around --- available December 18 on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and Eden Espinosa.com. Joining Eden and her band at Dim Mak Studios in Hollywood, CA will be: Tracie Thoms, Ty Taylor, Sarah Mears, Stefanie Sidler and Paul David. Eden brings an innovative and deeply personal interpretation to some modern Broadway hits. Working with her production team, she has endeavored to create a sound that is accessible to both die-hard Broadway fans and pop music listeners alike. Cast of WICKED to Host A WICKED WONDERLAND Benefit for STAGES St. Louis and BC/EFA, 12/17

On Monday, December 17th the National Tour Cast of Wicked will host A Wicked WONDERLAND at the Sheldon Concert Hall. The performance will begin at 7pm with VIP reception to follow. In its ongoing efforts to combat bullying, the hit Broadway musical Wicked will host a special event tonight, October 11, featuring two leaders in the worldwide campaign to bring an end to bullying: Ben Cohen, MBE, founder of The Ben Cohen StandUp Foundation, and Dan Savage, co-founder of The It Gets Better Project. Mr. Cohen and Mr. Savage will be joined by members of the Wicked company for a post-performance talk-back to discuss what can be done to help stop the prevalence of bullying. (more...)

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's Wicked was already hard a work yesterday recording their track for the album. 'A Magical Night On Broadway" is a fully-staged and costumed tribute to the American musical theatre starring stage, film and television personality JoAnne Worley and featuring music from some of Broadway's most celebrated musicals including "Chicago," "Wicked," "Hairspray," "A Chorus Line," "The Lion King" and more. Joining Worley are Bean and Broadway and television star Rex Smith, Tony-nominated actress Jonelle Allen, Terron Brooks and Carol Channing's American Glee Club - a young song and dance group representing America's public schools, along with a few surprise guests. Kyle Dean Massey to Return to WICKED as 'Fiyero' July 31; Richard Blake to Depart July 29

Beginning performances on Tuesday, July 31, KYLE DEAN MASSEY will return to the role of Fiyero in the Broadway company of Wicked. He joins a cast which currently includes Jackie Burns as Elphaba, Chandra Lee Schwartz as Glinda, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond. Richard Blake, who is currently playing the role of Fiyero, will play his final performance on Sunday, July 29. (more...)
