Enter the world of Oscar, Tony and Grammy Award winners Kander and Ebb's impeccably woven, high voltage AND THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND... a stunning revue of two of Broadway and motion picture's most prolific songwriters with direction by Los Angeles multiple theatre award winner Gary Lee Reed and musical direction by the acclaimed Joshua Kranz. This true-to-the-original Broadway production will be presented February 2 through March 10, 2013 by Be Wild About Music in association with Kevin Bailey and the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, CA. Racquel Lehrman of Theatre Planners serves as Producer. An all-star cast will be announced January 2, 2013. (more...)

Broadway In Boston and Producers Broadway Across America - Beth Williams; Howard & Janet Kagan; and Barry Brown have announced that tickets for the upcoming Boston engagement of the highly anticipated Pre-Broadway World Premiere of TUCK EVERLASTING will go on sale to the public this Sunday, March 10th beginning at 10am. This limited three week engagement will play the historic Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre July 28-August 18, 2013 and is part of the Lexus Broadway In Boston Series. (more...)

If anyone knows what it means to survive, it is James Fortune. Having lived through a situation of despair, Fortune has overcome the impossible and is a true testimony of faith and perseverance. This is the message he wants to share with the rest of the world. Having been a supporter since 2010, the award-winning gospel star has visited St. Jude Children's Hospital several times and performed a benefit concert, continuing to give support and love to the children there who suffer from all types and stages of cancer and other life threatening diseases. He is intimately invested in the work of the hospital and is rallying for others to do the same. (more...)

Mark Jaster and Sabrina Mandell have established Happenstance as one of the most inventive, genuinely spontaneous companies in town. Their sources of inspiration are diverse, likewise the shows that develop (literally) before our eyes. Based on the principle of physical improvisation, their brand of Devised Theater (quite distinct from that bane of critics, the "work in progress") can give you the delight of witnessing artists in the process of discovery, development and revision. The results are often confusing and challenge us to abandon our innate desire to make sense of things, inviting us simply to let the ensemble go about their wonderful work. (more...)

The Award-Winning Epic Theatre Ensemble, now in their 12th year presents William Shakespeare's RICHARD III: Born With Teeth, part of Shakespeare for a New Generation, a national program of the National Endowment for the Arts in cooperation with Arts Midwest. The production, directed by Ron Russell, begins previews Off-Broadway on Tuesday, April 16th and opens Saturday, April 20th at 8:00 PM at the Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of the San Diego premiere of Jon Robin Baitz's award-winning family drama Other Desert Cities. Directed by Richard Seer, Other Desert Cities will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, April 27 - June 2, 2013.
