Stranger Productions Presents MONEY, Beginning 5/31by BWW News Desk - May 9, 2013Stranger Productions presents the 50th Anniversary production of MONEY, a musical with book and lyrics by David Axlerod and Tom Whedon, and music by Sam Pottle. This is the first professional NYC production ofMONEY since its 1963 premiere at the Upstairs at the Downstairs, a bistro/theatre on W. 56th St. that, with MONEY, added scripted musicals to what had previously been a steady performance diet of revues and cabaret presentations. This first production ran for a solid 214 performances. Gerald Moshell directs a cast of four, including Robin Rightmyer, Meg Kiley Smith, David Andrew Laws and Logan Keeler. MONEY will run at the Studio Theatre on Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street, NYC for fifteen performances from May 31-June 16, 2013. (more...)
