2013 CAPA SUMMER MOVIE SERIES Lineup Announced

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 43rd anniversary in 2013 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and beloved films. The 2013 series, made possible through the generous support of PNC, will run June 28-August 25 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.), featuring 27 films over nine weeks. (more...)

Also starring will be Michelle Ragusa as The Lady of the Lake, Kevin Cahoon as Historian, John Scherer as Sir Robin, David Hibbard as Patsy, Chris Hoch as Sir Lancelot, Ben Davis as Sir Dennis Galahad, and Tally Sessions as Dennis' Mother/Sir Bedevere. Partly Cloudy People to Present Revival of TIGERS BE STILL, 5/9-25

Partly Cloudy People has announced its production of Kim Rosenstock's Tigers Be Still, directed by Pirronne Yousefzadeh. Tigers Be Still will play a three-week limited engagement at the DRILLING COMPANY THEATER (236 West 78 Street, Floor 3). Performances begin Thursday, May 9 and continue through Saturday, May 25. Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is excited to announce the cast for the outrageous musical comedy Spamalot, running May 14 - 26 at the Hobby Center for The Performing Arts. Lovingly ripped off from the classic film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' this three-time Tony Award winning show spoofs the Arthurian legend amidst a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, flying cows, killer rabbits and one legless knight. Directed by Chris Fink & Amanda Sayles, BILLY, GOAT, GRUFF: The Musical, features a talented cast of eight, with credits from the National Tour of Jekyll & Hyde Legally Blonde to NYMF's 'Next Broadway Sensation' to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Whistle Down the Wind.
