Danny Quadrino, Andrea Ross and More Set for ALL OF MY FRIENDS ARE WHORES at the Duplex Tonight

Broadway's Danny Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie), Andrea Ross (Whistle Down The Wind) and Lindsey Carothers (Bring It On) are among the cast of Pace University students for a one night only concert of songs and monologues by award-winning theater writer Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE The Musical, Molly Shannon's Tilly The Trickster). The show plays at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave) tonight, April 22nd at 9:30pm. The evening is curated and directed by Joshua W. Young performers from New York's acclaimed Children's Acting Academy of New York will participate in this year's EARTH DAY NEW YORK activities at Grand Central's Vanderbilt Hall today, April 22 (Earth Day) at 4 PM, it was announced by Mimi Stuart, Artistic Director of the Childrens Acting Academy of New York (CAA). The young performers will preview musical numbers from CAA's next two productions - Bye Bye Birdie and Annie Kids. They will also perform other musical numbers and show tunes. This will mark the third successive year that members of the Children's Acting Academy have been invited to participate in Earth Day New York events at Grand Central's Vanderbilt Hall. (more...)

Lyric Theatre to Kick Off 50th Summer Season with TARZAN, 6/25-29

This June, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma will return to the Civic Center Music Hall with a high-flying, powerful production of TARZAN, starring New York-based actor Nicholas Rodriguez as the title character. Running June 25-29, the show will mark the beginning of Lyric's four-show, 50th Anniversary Summer Season and will feature an original set by Helen Hayes Award-winning scenic designer Adam Koch and Oklahoma City artist Erin Latham.
