Ryan made the announcement on her Instagram, where she also announced she'll be doing a giveaway for a pair of tickets to her final performance for Women's Day this Sunday. National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, announces the continuation of its 93rd Rolling World Premiere (RWP): Babel by Jacqueline Goldfinger. Babel was the winner of the 2017-2018 Smith Prize for Political Theater administered by NNPN, received the Generations Award from Boulder Ensemble Theater Company, and appeared on the 2019 Kilroys List. After starting its Rolling World Premiere began in Kansas City, MO at Unicorn Theatre Babel opens tomorrow at Philadelphia's Theatre Exile (February 13 - March 8). Then, the play will be seen at Ogden, UT's Good Company Theatre (March 26 - April 12), the Contemporary American Theater Festival in Shepherdstown, WV (July 10 - August 2), and Trenton, NJ's Passage Theatre (October 10 - 25), before ending its Roll in spring of 2021 at a theater to be named later.

Casting has been announced for the upcoming premiere of The Still Room, written by Sally Rogers (Hangmen, Cold Feet) which opens at Park Theatre from 29th April. Rising star Kate James leads the cast as Janice, alongside Chris Simmons (The Bill, Hollyoaks, All Or Nothing) as Kevin, Jane Slavin (Clocking Off, Moving On) as Bernice, Zoe Brough (The Nether, Harry Potter & The Cursed Child) as Diane, Larner Wallace-Taylor (How Love Is Spelt, An Inspector Calls) as Karen and Jack Colgrave Hirst (Romeo & Juliet, The Winter's Tale a?" The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company) as Dean. The Still Room is directed by Nigel Douglas and produced by Rogers Douglas Productions in association with Park Theatre, running from 29th April to 23rd May (previews on 29th and 30th April). Loved by children and adults around the world for generations, the classic tale by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has been given a fresh and witty new adaptation using Luca Silvestrini's distinctive blend of dance, humour, words and music. Following its premiere at DanceEast for Christmas 2018 and 2019 tour, including a Christmas run at The Place in London, the show returns with the theatre tour and also a new adapted version especially made for for rural areas and smaller venues. Audiences will be invited to join the Little Prince as he journeys through a weird and wonderful universe, meeting fascinating characters along the way whilst learning about the value of friendship and love.

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman) and Langley Park Productions (Kevin McCormick) announced Beetlejuice broke the Winter Garden (1634 Broadway) Box Office Record for a 7-performance week with a gross of $1,435,799 the week ending January 5, 2020. The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,140,205. The week ending January 5, 2020, also marked the 16 consecutive sold-out Beetlejuice performance.
