Producer Scott Rudin Prints Ad Calling The New York Times' Patrick Healy 'Infant Provocateur and Amateur Journalist'by BWW News Desk - May 6, 2013THE TESTAMENT OF MARY, the controversial play which closed yesterday following just 16 regular performances, is now igniting a very different kind of controversy: an ad placed for the show on Sunday's New York Times includes a quote, attributed to the show's producer Scott Rudin, which reads: 'Let's give a big cuddly shout-out to Pat Healy, infant provocateur and amateur journalist at The New York Times. BWW Reviews: THE BOOK OF MORMONby Kelly Cameron - May 5, 2013The Book of Mormon opened in Toronto last Thursday, kicking off a sold-out six week run at The Princess of Wales Theatre. Arguably the most hyped show of the year, Toronto audiences have been clamouring to get tickets to this Tony Award Winning production. BWW was on hand opening night to see if the show does in fact live up to the hype, and we are happy to report that the Mormons are indeed a crowd pleasing bunch. (more...)
