Investigation Discovery Renews Serial Killer Drama DARK MINDS for Third Seasonby TV News Desk - Apr 16, 2013Fictional characters like Joe Carroll and Hannibal Lecter may be killing it with viewers on the broadcast networks, but at Investigation Discovery, it's the real-life serial killers that get viewers' blood boiling. In DARK MINDS, non-fiction crime author M. William Phelps and criminal profiler John Kelly revisit unsolved homicides believed to be the work of serial killers. The two investigators enlist a real, convicted serial killer who helps formulate theories about the motives and drive behind the monster responsible.
