The evening will feature a special 'Blast from the Past' concert of songs and numbers from four decades of Amas Musicals, including Bubbling Brown Sugar, Zanna Don't!, Barrio Babies, Bobos, SHOUT! The Mod Musical, Four Guys Named Jose, Latin Heat, Starmites, Langston Hughes's Little Ham, From My Hometown, Lone Star Love, and Wanda's World. The director and choreographer for the evening is Amas Artist-in-Residence Maria Torres, with musical direction by Doug Oberhamer. Ogunquit Holds Auditions For A CHORUS LINE 5/20-6/13

The Ogunquit Playhouse is holding auditions for its non-Equity and Actors' Equity Association summer productions. The 2009 season auditions are for A Chorus Line - (May 20-June 13 rehearsals begin May 12), Shout! The Mod Musical (June 17- July 11 rehearsals begin June 2), Guys and Dolls (July 15- Aug 8 rehearsals begin June 30), Singin' in the Rain (Aug 12- Sept 12 rehearsals begin July 28) and All Shook Up (Sept 16- Oct 11 rehearsals begin Sept. 1). The Playhouse is also holding auditions for its non-equity production of Disney's High School Musical (Show runs three weekends June 27 & 28, July 25 & 26, Aug 29 & 30, rehearsals begin May 26).
