Public Theater to Tour RICHARD III This Julyby BWW News Desk - Jun 28, 2012The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) will take its MOBILE SHAKESPEARE UNIT on tour again this July with a production of RICHARD III, directed by Amanda Dehnert. The three-week tour, July 16 to August 3, will bring free Shakespeare to audiences who have limited or no access to the arts before a sit-down run at The Public Theater, August 6-25. Today, the renowned nonprofit announced 13 selections for the inaugural summer lab at The Ground Floor, Berkeley Rep's Center for the Creation and Development of New Work. The Persian Parade Begins from Madison Avenue at Noon, 4/15by BWW News Desk - Apr 15, 2012Kambiz Mofrad and Majid Moussavian, co-presidents of the Persian Parade Foundation, announced that the 9th Annual Persian Parade, a celebration of the culture, traditions and contributions of the Persian people, will kick off this Sunday, April 15th at 12 Noon from Madison Avenue/38th Street. The parade, a non-political, non-religious, cultural event will march downtown to 26th Street.
Political figures and celebrities in support of the Persian people are expected to participate.
