Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) Artistic Director Bill Rauch announced the Festival's 2019 playbill today. The season, which will be Rauch's last at the artistic helm, celebrates Shakespeare, classics and new plays, including two American Revolutions commissions and a pilot Community Visit Project that will take a bilingual Play on! translation into community venues throughout the region.

MTV's legendary competition show 'The Challenge' returns with the premiere of an epic ten-week special event 'The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars.' Hosted by WWE Superstar and former challenge competitor, Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin, 'Champs vs. Stars' will feature ten celebrities and all-star athletes along with ten highly skilled, fan-favorite champions from past 'Challenge' seasons. For the first time ever, teams will be mixed with both celebrities and 'Champs' where they will face off in weekly eliminations, until one team will prove they are the ultimate 'Challenge MVP.' Winners will compete for a chance to take a share of the $150,000 cash prize to donate to their beloved charities. 'The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars' premieres April 17, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

When CHICAGO last toured through town, I had the pleasure of speaking with Broadway's Dylis Croman, who returns to the national tour of CHICAGO next week, as the fame-obsessed merry murderess, Roxie Hart. With five Broadway shows under her belt, and several national tours, Ms. Croman returns to Texas, having graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The Lyric Stage Company continues to meander through the works of Stephen Sondheim with ROAD SHOW, his most recent collaboration with librettist John Weidman. The Huntington Theatre Company's 2018 Breaking Ground festival of new plays will be held February 9 11, 2018 at the Huntington's home for new work, the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.
