IAMA Theatre Company Presents SIXTY MILES TO SILVER LAKE, Opening 2/2by BWW News Desk - Jan 9, 2013IAMA Theatre Company (Becca Wolff, Artistic Director) has announced a limited engagement of Sixty Miles to Silver Lake, written by Dan LeFranc and directed by Wolff, at Hollywood's Lounge Theatre. There will be one lower-priced preview performance on Friday, February 1 at 8pm, and opening night is set for Saturday, February 2 at 8:00. Stratford Festival Opens Box Office for 2013 Season on Saturdayby BWW News Desk - Jan 3, 2013The Stratford Festival's box office opens to the public this Saturday, January 5, at 9 a.m., with an online advance sale beginning at noon on Friday. Facebook fans, who want to use the Festival's new social ticketing app will be able to purchase tickets as of 9 a.m. today. Finborough Theatre to Resume SOMERSAULTS Todayby BWW News Desk - Jan 22, 2013The Finborough Theatre is sad to report that on Sunday 13 January, actor David Carlyle, who plays the leading role of James in the Finborough Theatre's production of Somersaults by Iain Finlay Macleod was rushed to hospital with viral meningitis. All the performances for the week commencing Monday 14 January were cancelled, but it is sadly now clear that, for the first time in his career and despite winning rave reviews for his performance, David has had to withdraw from the production. Created by Kimberly Vaughn, The Broadway Performance Project is dedicated to discovering and nurturing new talent. This mini-conservatory trains the student to achieve Broadway caliber performance which is further shaped by industry professionals in prep for a two-evening performance at a top NY cabaret venue. Early this Fall GTT board member, Nicole Fosse agreed to create a scholarship in her name giving more opportunities for performers to take part in the 2013 season of Broadway Performance Project.
