Photo Flash: Playwrights Horizons Presents THE BIG MEALby BWW News Desk - Mar 9, 2012Playwrights Horizons just announced complete casting for the New York premiere of THE BIG MEAL, a new play by Dan LeFranc (Sixty Miles to Silver Lake at P73/Soho Rep, In the Labyrinth at Soho Rep). Directed by the Obie Award-winning "white-hot young director" (The New York Times) Sam Gold (Circle Mirror Transformation and Kin at PH, Seminar on Broadway, Tigers Be Still, The Aliens, The Coward), the production will begin previews Thursday, March 1 at 7:30 PM with an Opening Night set for Wednesday, March 21 at 7PM. The resulting Profumo Affair scandal began the end of Harold MacMillan's government in 1960s Britain. 'Hell on Wheels' Reigns as AMC's Second Highest Rated Original Seriesby TV News Desk - Jan 17, 2012AMC's season finale of 'Hell on Wheels,' which premiered on Sunday, January 15th at 10 pm EST, delivered a 2.2 HH rating and attracted 2.8 million viewers. The premiere and encore combined delivered 3.8 million viewers (10 pm EST premiere and 11 pm EST encore). Season one averaged 3 million viewers and attracted 1.3 million adults 18-49 and 1.4 million adults 25-54. 'Hell on Wheels' finishes as the second highest rated series on AMC following the success of 'The Walking Dead.' AMC greenlit a second season of 'Hell on Wheels' in December. (more...)
