The Public's Oskar Eustis Directs Lawrence Wright's Premiere FALLACI at Berkeley Rep, Now thru 4/21

Dallas Theater Center to Present THE ODD COUPLE, 3/15-4/14

Dallas Theater Center announced today the upcoming production of Neil Simon's classic American comedy, The Odd Couple, directed by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty. When two men with struggling relationships, neat and particular Felix Ungar and disheveled and rough-edged Oscar Madison, decide to live together, the results are funny and poignant. Philadelphia Theatre Company Announces Winner Of The Second Annual Terrence McNally New Play Award

Philadelphia Theatre Company has announced A. ZELL WILLIAMS as the recipient of the Terrence McNally New Play Award for the research and development of his play The Urban Retreat about a teacher whose writing career has taken a detour at the request of a former student-turned-Hip-Hop superstar. The Terrence McNally New Play Award is a $10,000 cash prize given annually to recognize a new play that celebrates the transformative power of art. The Award will also include a year of development support at PTC, including readings as well as administrative support and networking to help manage the future of the play beyond its time at PTC. WICKED Will Offer Lottery at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre with performances from February 20-March 10. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets. (more...)
