Irish Rep's A CELEBRATION OF HAROLD PINTER Plays Tonight if Power Restored

The Irish Rep hopes everyone has remained safe and is doing well in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. As you may know, The Irish Rep is in the area that has been without power. The theatre has been told there is a possibility that power will be restored to Chelsea this evening, November 2. If it is restored by 5pm, only A Celebration of Harold Pinter will perform tonight. Hurricane Sandy has caused the cancellation of much of New York's theatre over the past few days. While shows on Broadway have returned to their normal performance schedules, many of the city's off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway theatres are still struggling. The Irish Repertory Theatre, which has been dark since the blackout following Hurricane Sandy, has announced that performances of A CELEBRATION OF HAROLD PINTER are set to resume as of Friday, November 2 at 8pm in its W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre; and performances of The Freedom of the City are set to resume as of Saturday, November 3 at 3pm on its Francis J.
