Casting announced for workshop of Broadway bound musical 'Pure Country.'

Producers Randall L. Wreghitt, Chris Presley and Ellen Rusconi announced today that PURE COUNTRY, a brand-new original musical, will have its World Premiere as part of the 2008-2009 Broadway Season.

According to Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown's April newsletter, three leading ladies will join Brown for his upcoming concert at Birdland.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com will present the Tony Award-winning composer/performer Jason Robert Brown in a special week-long run at Birdland, April 4 - 7 , with shows at 9 and 11pm nightly.

Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schoenberg's THE PIRATE QUEEN, the spectacular new musical from the authors of Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, will play a pre-Broadway, World Premiere engagement in Chicago from October 3rd through November 26th, 2006.
