Moorestown High School Theater presents a delightful production of Michael Stewart's Tony Award-winning Broadway smash Bye Bye Birdie- and let me say it -Broadway versions have nothing on this outing directed and choreographed by Erica Scanlon Harr.

Opening weekend of the Ojai Film Festival features a throwback tribute to the days of big studios and contract players. Pat Boone plans to attend the screening of his 1962 movie State Fair on Saturday November 2, at 7 pm, followed by a reception in his honor at 9 pm. On Sunday, November 3 at 10 am, the Ojai Film Festival will present him with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Gallery at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC) presents 'LR9: 1957,' a multimedia group exhibition inspired by the Little Rock Nine. Curated by Ajamu Kojo, the exhibition includes oil painting, collage, sculture, found-object art and projected film works by artists including Patrick Earl Barnes, Kimberly Becoat, Paul Deo, Aimee Everett, Chet Gold, Aaqil Ka, Ajamu Kojo, Roni Nicoleand Valincy-Jean Patelli. The exhibition is open to the public through August 3. Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. Art lovers of all kinds gathered this evening at Montalvo Arts Center's historic Villa to hear the Silicon Valley venue announce its 2018-2019 Carriage House Theatre Concert Series launching in October.
