At this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival, Kick Boom Theater Company is re-telling the (mostly true) story in its inaugural production of the innovative and totally entertaining SCARLETT FEVER, created and directedchoreographed by John Wuchte, with original music by John Wuchte and award-winning composer Michael Teoli which adds percussive accompaniment as a perfect complement to Wuchte's signature Tribal Acting style.

COMPANY XIV Announces 2018-2019 Season

Company XIV announces their 2018-2019 season kicking off with the return engagement of Ferdinand: Boylesque Bullfight inspired by the story of Ferdinand the Bull.  This mix of dance and theater will be presented at their home, Theatre XIV, 383 Troutman Street in Bushwick (L Train to Jefferson Street stop).  Previews will begin on September 6th, 2018 with official opening night set for Sunday, September 9th (8 PM). Ferdinand will play through October 28th.

Banff Centre Commissions 12 New Works By Canadian And International Composers This Summer

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is proud to commission an extraordinary 12 new works by Canadian and international composers as part of its 2018 Summer Music program - a series of three unique residencies designed by co-artistic directors, world-class musicians Claire Chase and Steven Schick. All 12 new works will be given their world premieres by Summer Music program participants, alongside faculty and guest artists, over the course of seven concerts starting in June 2018.
