The Drama League has announced, today, that Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, who both currently star in Waitress, will announce the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award.

Rep Stage, the professional regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), closes its 26th season with "The 39 Steps," a comedy adapted by Patrick Barlow, from the novel by John Buchan. Based on the Alfred Hitchcock masterpiece, this fast-paced spoof of the classic 1935 film is a joy for anyone who loves the magic of theatre.

The Town Hall presents Broadway By The Year©: Broadway Musicals of 1928 and 1935 on Monday, February 25 at 8pm. Created, written, hosted and directed by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, the evening marks the beginning of Broadway By The Year©'s 19th season at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street).

What Will The Neighbors Say? is excited to announce casting for the workshop production of Founding Co-Artistic Director James Clements' latest play, Beauty Freak: Leni Riefenstahl's 'Olympia,' this November. The production will officially inaugurate the company's 2018-2019 season at the Plaxall Gallery in Long Island City, following a week long development workshop in the space. gatha Christie's classic Murder on the Orient Express was a hit movie in 1974 with an all star cast headed by Albert Finney as detective Hercule Poirot. Now adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, in its West Coast premiere, Murder... bows at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts directed with taut precision by Sheldon Epps and featuring a stellar ensemble. It plays through November 11 only.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the independent, not-for-profit affiliate of SDC, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, today announced unique plans for its 2019 award evening, which will feature original choreographic pieces resulting from a special commissioning program, with the application period now open. SDCF also announced that Victoria Traube would receive a special 'Mr. Abbott' Award at the event, to be held March 25 at the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF).

Actors Co-op Theatre Company (Ovation Award-Winner 2017 Best Play, Intimate Theatre for 33 Variations) presents the first show in its 27th Season with the thriller ROPE, written by Patrick Hamilton, directed by Ken Sawyer, produced by Kevin Shewey.  ROPE will preview on Thursday, September 20 at 8pm and will open Friday, September 21 at 8pm and run through Sunday, October 29 at the Actors Co-op Crossley Theatre, 1760 N. Gower St. 90028 (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival is making a splash recently with their same-sex production of Oklahoma! OSF is acclaimed for provocative show content, community engagement and unusually diverse casting. PBS recently did a feature on the company, where they sat down with some of the creatives to discuss what makes them unique.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will end its Green Show season early due the ongoing impacts of wildfire smoke. The Green Show, a series of free performances typically offered on OSF's Courtyard Stage six nights a week throughout the summer and into mid-October, will end on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018. The Festival remains open and its 10 mainstage plays will continue into October.

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival opened Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, directed by OSF Artistic Director Bill Rauch, on April 22 in the Angus Bowmer Theatre. Preview performances were April 18, 20 and 21, and the musical runs through Oct. 27.

Bask in the warmth and enchantment of Italy without leaving Maine during Theater at Monmouth's production of Enchanted April. Elizabeth Von Arnim's resplendent 1920s novel comes to life on stage in this Tony Award-nominated play by Matthew Barber. Enchanted April runs from Thursday July 19th, at 7:30 p.m. throughout the season including matinee and evening performances on both weekdays and weekends.

The Second Street Players are proud to announce the 2019 Season. 2019 will showcase some classic stories along with  some new shows that have not been preformed in the area yet. There will be 5 Main Stage Shows and 3 Children's Theater shows. With this announcement the Second Street Players are also putting out a call to Directors. Anyone that is interested in directing one of the shows should submit a letter of intent by August 31, 2018.
