Considered one of Shakespeare's most popular history plays, this rousing tale has not been produced on The Shakespeare Theatre stage in 20 years. Henry IV, Part One begins performances on May 30 and runs through June 24 at the Theatre's Main Stage - the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre. BWW Reviews: ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST from Strawberry Theatre Workshopby Jay Irwin - Jul 13, 2012Dario Fo's 1970 play, "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" with it's anti-establishment rhetoric certainly has connections to items in the news today what with the occupy movement and people's disillusionment with the government. But the problem that the current production of the play from Strawberry Theatre Workshop has is that they don't trust the audience to make those connections and instead feel the need to jam them into the script and beat us over the head with them. And while the show is funny and has some amazing performances it also at times comes across as self indulgent and lacking commitment.

News Desk - Aug 26, 2012The York Mystery Plays, a medieval cycle of plays which have been performed by the people of York for hundreds of years, will return to the city this year on an epic scale from 2 to 27 August. As well as a cast of professional actors, over 2,500 people will be involved in the staging of this production including over 1,500 local volunteers as the two casts of community ensemble, musicians, choir and crew.
